Zimbabwe’s Largest National Park — Hwange National Park

Take a day trip and enjoy a safari to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s biggest national park and one of the best places in the country to see wildlife.

Hwange is famous for its huge elephant herds — it has one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, with tens of thousands of these gentle giants roaming its plains and waterholes.

You’ll have a great chance of seeing the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and (in protected areas) rhino — along with many other animals like cheetah, wild dogs, giraffe, zebra, and antelope.

If you love birds, Hwange is also a top spot — more than 400 species have been spotted here, so bring your binoculars!

Whether you’re on your first safari or have been on many, Hwange offers wonderful wildlife viewing and unforgettable experiences in the African bush.
