This multi-day rafting trip
Start at Victoria Falls and ends at the dam site far downstream. Every night, you camp by the river under the stars.
On Day 1, you begin with a safety talk and gear fitting. Then you hike down into the Batoka Gorge and push off in your raft right below the Falls — a truly unforgettable start.
Each day you paddle through more of the Batoka Gorge’s rapids. The river has both wild, thrilling rapids and calm stretches where you can enjoy the scenery.
One of the big highlights is the powerful “Boiling Pot” rapid — your first big challenge on the river. After Rapid 10, you’ll reach Songwe Camp, where you spend the night around a warm campfire.
Each day has a rhythm: rafting in the morning, stopping for lunch on a river beach, then more paddling in the afternoon. In the evening, you gather around the campfire, relax, and sleep in tents by the river.
This tour is perfect for true adventurers who want to tackle all 25 rapids and camp in nature while experiencing the wild beauty of the Zambezi River and Batoka Gorge.
